Day 1: Transfer To Kibale Park, Cycling In Mpanga Tea Estate, Visit Amabere Ga Nyinamwiru Caves

After enjoying an early breakfast at around 6:30 am from your lodge, you’ll embark on a 300km impressive drive to Kibale National Park.

Along this 5-6 hours drive, expect to enjoy different amazing stopovers for example one at Mityana local market.  While here, you’ll have a golden opportunity of tasting the pure organic sweet tropical fruits of Uganda.

Also, along the way, you’ll enjoy Uganda’s delicious KFC version of chicken which is roasted chicken skewered on sticks. This stopover is done in Mubende town and after, continue the drive.

Upon arrival in the lush green Mpanga Tea Estates in the mid-morning, you’ll undertake a cycling adventure on the tea farm. This spectacular green tea plantation covers an amazing rolling landscape ideal to be explored on a mountain bike.

During the ride, you’ll meet the tea plantation staff plucking tea. For a great memorable experience on your Uganda trip, you can also join them.

Day 4: Do A Morning Game Drive & A Boat Cruise On Kazinga Channel

You’ll start your 4th day of 7 days Uganda safari tour with an early breakfast around 6:30 am from your lodge. After, transfer to a 3-4 hours thrilling game drive in the scenic plains of the Kasenyi area- the main area for game drives in Queen Elizabeth park.

During this exciting game drive, expect to spot a variety of animals in Queen Elizabeth counting 4 of the African safari Big Five. And among these include Lions, Leopards, Buffaloes, and large Elephant herds.

Several antelope species and birds are also encountered on this game drive.

You’ll retire from this 3-4 hours rousing encounter and transfer back to your lodge and settle for lunch. After, transfer to Mweya jetty for a 2 pm sensational boat cruise on Kazinga channel.

This is the highlight of the day as this boat cruise is considered one of the best amazing boat cruise experiences in Africa.

Please note that Kazinga Channel is a natural 32km long waterway connecting Lake George to Lake Edward.

Day 5: Transfer To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Enjoy An En-Route Game Drive In Ishasha Sector In Search Of Tree Climbing Lions

Following breakfast, embark on a 2-3 hour drive to the Ishasha sector on the southern side of Queen Elizabeth park. Upon arrival, you’ll undertake a remarkable game drive in search of the incredible tree-climbing Lions.

The rare tree climbing- Lions are one of the prominent tourist attractions a must not miss while on your Uganda safari. Usually, they’re spotted resting amazingly between Fig tree branches in the mid-morning.

While on this wonderful game drive, expect to encounter also Elephants, Buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, and Topis as well as various bird species.

Day 6: Enjoy Mountain Gorilla Trekking Adventure & Transfer To Lake Bunyonyi For A Tranquil Canoe Boat Ride

Day 6 of your day 7 Uganda safari tour marks the climax of this Uganda tour.

You’ll wake up for an early breakfast around 6:30 am from your lodge and after transfer to Bwindi park headquarters with your packed lunch for a gorilla trekking briefing at 8 am.

Please note that Bwindi is the best place for gorilla trekking in Uganda Africa. It holds over 459 gorillas and this is estimated to be almost 50% of the only 1,063 endangered remaining Mountain gorillas living on earth.

On finishing the briefing from a senior ranger, you’ll embark on a hike into the misty and hilly Bwindi forest in search of the allocated habituated gorilla family. Always, visitors are in the company of rangers, trackers, and porters.

During this 2-8 hours hike, you’ll have an opportunity of spotting some of the 370 bird species of Bwindi. Also, various primates counting the Black-and-white Colobus as well as the L’hoest Monkeys can be spotted along the trail among others.

On spotting these mighty shy giants of the forest, visitors are only limited to one magical hour enjoying them as take on their amazing daily activities.

Young gorillas normally break the 7m rule as they get closure to you to incorporate you into their games.

Day 7: Hiking To The Top Of The World & Driving To Back To Kampala

Day 7 makes up the last day of your 7 days Uganda safari tour.

Rise early and enjoy a delicious breakfast around 7 am at your lodge. While undertaking breakfast, you’ll enjoy the amazing melodies of the small birds around the lake. This will make you understand why this lake is called Lake Bunyonyi which translates as the “Lake of small birds”.

After, embark on a picturesque hike to the top of the world point here which is at 2200m a.s.l. On reaching the top of this lovely hill, you be amazed by the dazzling memorable scenery of the entire Lake Bunyonyi.

Furthermore, while at the top, you’ll enjoy a delicious picnic breakfast which comes with a warm cup of coffee and snacks before you slope down.

Retreat from this thrilling adventure and dive to Kampala 420km or 470km to Entebbe.

During this drive, you’ll enjoy the fascinating views of the rolling terraced hills of the Kigezi highlands. Also, travelers usually encounter men carrying their agricultural produce on bicycles amazingly to nearby local markets.

On reaching Mbarara, undertake an en-route lunch stop at Igongo Country Hotel for a delicious traditional lunch. If you’re an adventurous traveler, you can try out the Ishabwe dish- a local delicacy in this region.

After lunch, you’ll proceed to visit the 1520AD amazing solar eclipse monument which is found on a hill in Biharwe village. A hike to this hill offers you spectacular views of the beautiful rolling plains of Ankole which are ideal for photo shoots.

While in this area, you’ll get to know the captivating history behind this solar eclipse.

From here, continue the drive, stopping at the Uganda Equator crossing point in Kayabwe for amazing Equator experiments and photo shoots.
