This lovely lodge is situated about 24km from Fort Portal town (40 minutes drive) and just about 20km from the Kibale National Park. It’s also approximately 50km (1hr drive) to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Papaya Lake Lodge features 9 spacious and bright cottages all situated on the extinct volcano crater’s slope offering great views of Lyantonde Lake.

Each of the cottages offers complete privacy and is also surrounded by lush green forests.

8 of the cottages boast 2 beds (1 king-size and one single). Rooms are fitted with bathrooms decorated with local stones and hold shower units. The verandas are equipped with deckchairs.

The 9th cottage “Family Cottage- is a two-level villa featuring 3 bedrooms, a living room, and a fireplace. It also holds a spacious bathroom and a large terrace area.

Simply, all rooms are decorated and furnished with amazing colors and hold subtle accessories. They’re also fitted with Mosquito nets and simple but, comfortable furniture.
