Day 1: Transferring To Murchison Falls National Park. En-Route, Visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
You’ll rise early for a morning breakfast around 6 am from your hotel in Kampala. Later, meet our driver guide and embark on a 310km (5-6 hours drive) to the mighty Murchison Falls National Park- Uganda’s biggest park.
This scenic drive will take you through the historical battleground of the Luwero Triangle, the picturesque lush landscapes of Uganda, vibrant towns, and amazing local markets.
Also, along this drive, you’ll encounter several people going for their daily life activities.
On reaching Nakasongola, you’ll branch off to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary– the only place to spot wild Rhinos in Uganda. While here, you’ll undertake a memorable 2 hours adventure of Rhino tracking on foot with a company of a local expert ranger.
This experienced ranger will share with you a lot of fascinating information concerning the behavior of these wonderful prehistoric creatures.
Please note that a Rhino is among the African safari Big Five– animals that were termed as the most challenging to hunt on foot by trophy hunters.

Day 2: Undertake A Game Drive In The Morning, An Afternoon Boat Cruise On The Nile, And A Hike To The Top Of The Falls
Wake up early for a morning breakfast around 6:30 am and after transfer for a 3-4 hours game drive in the dazzling northern sector of Murchison Falls NP.
You’ll drive through beautiful rolling grasslands which are dotted with Borassus Palm trees. On this expect to encounter numerous birds as well as game animals such as:
- Rothschild’s Giraffes
- Cape Buffaloes
- African Elephants
- Lions
- Leopards
- Hippos
- Olive Baboons and,
- Various antelope species such as Jackson’s Hartebeest, Waterbucks, Bushbucks, Uganda Kobs, and Oribis.

This scenic drive offers you impressive views of the great Albertine Rift Valley, Lake Albert, Butiaba Escarpment, and the dazzling Blue Mountains of the Congo before stopping in Hoima town.
From Hoima, you’ll continue driving to your lodge in Fort Portal where you’ll unwind, have dinner as well as and overnight.

Day 4: Tracking Chimpanzees In Kibale National Park And Transfer To Kampala After
