Chimpanzee Forest Guest House is also one of the ideal Mid-range Lodges in Kibale National Park/Mid-range Accommodation in Kibale National Park/Standard Hotels. It’s located on the edges of Kibale Forest about 22km from Fort Portal on the Kamwenge Road.

This guesthouse was formerly a residence of the British district commissioner in the 1950s during Uganda’s colonial period. However, it was renovated and turned into a Guest House in 2003.

It has been wonderfully cared for and maintained ever since.
